Some nice person listened to the podcast of Matcher Rules and posted it as an audiobook title on Goodreads. Thank you!

I admit I’ve been slow to use Goodreads, because the social websites are time-sinks and my experience with Facebook has been bad. So I wasn’t rushing to become a Goodreads author because I felt it would be more of the same.

My bad. Matcher Rules had two very nice reviews by the time I caught up, so I created an author page, linked all the editions, added The Bone Road editions, and loaded the ebooks. It’s so nice, by the way, that Goodreads uses epub versions: one click and they are up.

Goodreads has graphic buttons I could put on this page to link directly to the reviews, and I’ve been trying without success to make them work. I may need to contact Squarespace. As a side effect, I did get the pre-set Facebook button installed, which I wasn’t interested in, and I have to revisit this. But still, I’m certainly getting a lot back from all the effort I put into the podcast. That’s so great.

And when am I going to record the podcast of The Bone Road? Well, soon. Very soon. I’d like to get the first chapter or the first 10,000 words of The Dog of Pell written, so it looks like the end of this month. I told someone this isn’t so much a first draft as a proto-draft. That seems more accurate.
